On Air di Radio Suara Surabaya & Nafiri FM

Well..

Kali ini pengalaman on air di Suara Surabaya hehe.. benere ini kejadian uda 5 hari lalu tapi krn banyak sekali kesibukan dan krn aku harus ke luarkota jadinya postingan cerita 5 hari lalu terpakasa kubuat hari ini...

Mm.. tapi masi bisa kurasakan gregetnya hehee mulai dari hari senin siang tgl 23 june, dapet sms dari Jie yang infoin soal program on-air prespektif muda: Blogging sebagai sarana promosi.. bayanganku cuma interview singkat 5-10 menit on air via telp..lalu dijelasin ama jie and ditelp sama mbak Norvi dari SS.. ternyata bukan sekedar interview tapi TALK SHOW and aku diminta jadi narasumber nya whoaaaaaaa HIIIIIII syerem.. (sakjane rodo bangga --> blm perna on air si sblmnya) tapi tetep aja grogi, maklum aku kan blogger kelas awam yang masi belajaran.. mana background bukan dari IT lageee

Tapi berkat support dari Jiewa and juga berkat dukungan moril dan juga dukungan real dari Mr. Anthony Harman, akhirnya aku berani deh terima tawaran ini dengan catetan Mr. AH ini mau nemenin on-air nya hehe... soale dia yang banyak bantu bikinin web blog www.bebekremuk.com hihi

karena acara ini mendadak, yo terpaksa aku reschedule jadual keberangkatan ke jakarta, untung masi keburu ganti schedule flight, yah beli tiket online memang bener2 saving time... sempet juga jadual 2 hari mendadak berubah drastis mulai dari persiapan Workshop di Jakarta sampe cancel tiket, nemuin Mas Agus dari Solo, trus persiapan ngurus bebek (Yang bakal tak tinggal 1 minggu, which means musti ngurusin laporan keuangan, gajian dll untuk segera dibereskan) pokoe 2hari kaco...

Wuih... tapi skr bersyukur banget boleh dilalui dengan baik semua nya berkat dukungan Fey yang slalu setia mendampingi (I thank God for my beloved boyfriend : thanks so much!) , and juga babahe (terutama dalam kasus on air di SS hahaa)

18.30 = uda siap di bebek remuk
19.00-20.00 = nemenin Fey interview dgn Nafiri FM
20.00-20.30 = makan malem sambil nervous... lalu meluncur ke gedung SS
20.30 = nyampe SS nemuin mas Laga.. yang in fact, ramah banget.. ngobrol bentar... berusaha menghilangkan rasa grogi dengan memikirkan "Oh come on, dont be nervous, lets just pretend we are going to do something very fun.." So i imagined (Yes! to avoid my nervous feeling, I did imagine..) that I would do something I luv the most, such as: Doing world traveling.. to disneyland.. watching Tom Fettke's Orchestra, and eating foods hahaha... and it worked anyway hehehe --> ilang de nervousnya

21.00= masuk studio SS....
Hii.. ini dia pengalaman pertama masuk studio... akhirnya aku on air di Radio juga! Tahun ini diriku & bebekremuk memang sudah beberapa kali masuk media: Pernah masuk TV, media cetak juga uda pernah.. tinggal radio aja yang belum.. dan akhirnya skr jadi lengkap deh hehehe.

Waktu on air kita ber3 nih jadi narasumbernya, aku&anthony mewakili blog bebek remuk, sedang ada juga satu narasumber lain yang jagoan ngerjain professional blogging: Mr. Cosa (cosaaranda.com)..

Untung acaranya ringan.. jadi smeua bisa jalan dengan baik.. begitu pertanyaane dalem ke IT mas Cosa bantu jawab.. berjalan dengan sukses sampai akhir.. sharing, jawab pertanyaan seputar blog, en gimana caranya bikin blog jadi media yang atraktif untuk promo..
satu jam ternyata ngga berasa lho thanks to everyone.. buat para penanya juga.. ternyata banyak juga peminat blogging di sby hehee

KungFu Panda, The Happening & Indiana Jones

Well... dalam minggu2 ini aku nonton 3 film ini.. tapi belakangan lagi agak badmood untuk review, jadi skr ini untuk melunasi hutang2 review filmku, langsung aja ta kasi review singkat untuk 3 pilem ini :)

KungFu Panda: Excellent!

Waktu itu aku en Fey ngantri tiket di 21Galaxy.. maunya sih nonton si Panda, tapi berhubung yang antree Panda kebanyakan anak2 kecil sambil teriak2 "kungfu Panda, kungfu Panda!" si Fey langsung ilfil ngebayangin anak2 kecil pada ribut sepanjang show hahaha.. jadi terpaksa nonton Pandanya ditunda 3 hari kemudian, kita ambil jam 21.10 (anak2 kan dah bobo) di SUTOS XXI .

So... Aku doyan banget ama movie ini, karena sangat menghibur dan fun! Ngga kecewa ama pilemnya, ceritanya bagus dan pesan moralnya juga ada : BELIEVE WE CAN DO IT yippie!!

Adegan Favoritku: Pas si Panda lagi diobatin tusuk jarum sambil 'diomelin' ama Miss Tiger dengan serius menceritakan sejarah Shifu & Tailung... tiba2 muka si Panda jadi Elek banget sambil Melet (yang ternyata karena Mr. Mantice tusuk jarum di syaraf yang salah! Huahahaha)

Walo ceritanya simpel and anak2 banget but overall this movie is good kok. I give 8.5 out of 10 deh

Nah untuk Pilem Kedua : THE HAPPENING

Gak sengaja nonton di 21Galaxy.. pasti dah bisa nebak, gara2nya ngga jadi nonton Panda, jadine nonton ini pilem =D Biasane aku n Fey kalo nonton musti ngamatin dulu posternya atau minim dapet referensi ttg film yg akan ditonton.. tapi khusus kali ini,ngga pake cara itu, yah karena uda kadung di depan loket, ya mendadak kita mutusin nonton pilem ini cuma gara2 ada nama Mr. Night Shyamalan di sana.

Jujur aku agak kecewa ama Mr. Shyamalan.. Gara2 menurutku kejutane dikit, gak sebaik the sixth sense ama the village nyaw... bagian awal2nya mayan bagus and medeni menurutku.. yah seremnya sih bukan kaya serem setan2 tapi serem yang aneh en.. pokoe si Mr. Night berhasil membangkitkan suasana kengerian yang aneh atas horor yang terjadi.. BUT yang bikin sedih ya pilem ini bener2 membingungkan di ending dan banyak sekali hal yang sangat ngga jelas, jadi nyebelin karena kita (penonton) gak dapet jawaban apa2..

Aku en Fey keluar gedung sambil agak kecewa.. baru setelah itu kami tau ada tulisan di posternya : DO NOT LOOK FOR ANSWERS, ITS TOO LATE

Omigod.. jadi memange pilem ini sengaja ngga memberikan jawaban yagh? hahaha... (Well.. as for the score..I give 7/10 for this movie)

INDIANA JONES: Nah balik lagi ke dua minggu lalu.. nonton Indy beraksi di filem terbarunya. ketara banget si engkong Ford yang udah tua maksa main film action adventure gini.. kacian.. hehehe.. tapi memang rasane si Indy ga cocok dimainin sapa2 lagi.. soale dari dulu si Mr. Ford ini uda bisa bawain tokoh ini dengan baik. Lagu karagan John Willliam juga pancet dipake di movie ini, ceritanya sih mayan fun walo sebelnya berkaitan ama alien. Padahal kan Indy arkeolog yang biasane nemu kebudayaan2 kuno atau apa gitu.. jangan kebudayaan alien donnk please..

Overall filem ini menghibur kok.. aku kasi applause buat Engkong Spielberg yang masih produktif banget hasilkan karya2 yang baik :) Saya kasi nilai 8 over 10 deh... =)

Novel : Perfume The Story of a Murderer

Well.. Kali ini aku mau kasi review untuk sebuah novel mahakarya yang baru aja kubaca, judulnya PERFUME.. waktu kemarin di new bromo (sewaan buku), sempet bingung mau pinjem apa eh ternayata ada novel ini... yang bikin aku decide untuk sewa adalah kompentar2 memuji dari New York Times, TIMES magazine, dan beberapa media ternama yang memuji-muji novel ini selangit..

Mengutip dari Wikipedia:

Perfume: The Story of a Murderer is a 1985 literary historical cross-genre novel (originally published in German as Das Parfum) by German writer Patrick Süskind. The novel explores the sense of scent, and its relationship with the emotional meaning that scents may carry. Above all this is a story of identity, communication and the morality of the human spirit. In 2006 it was turned into a feature film by the same name directed by Tom Tykwer and starring Ben Whishaw, Dustin Hoffman and Alan Rickman.

Lebih Jelasnya.. novel ini mengisahkan kehidupan Jean-Baptiste Grenouille yang dilahirkan tanpa bau namun memiliki kemampuan penciuman yang sangat amat baik (the best in the world kali) dengan hidung nya yang super peka, dia bisa tahu letak benda2 beserta komposisinya, bisa meramalkan cuaca, kedatangan tamu, apa yang dilakukan seseorang, dimana seseorang menyembunyikan harta, dll hanya dengan mencium baunya.

Sampai suatu kali dia menemukan sebuah bau yang sangat menyentuh emosinya, sangat luarbiasa dan membius orang sampai ke surga, this heavenly scent setelah ditelusuri ternyata berasal dari seorang gadis perawan berambut merah.. hal ini.. menimbulkan ambisi Grenouille untuk mencipratakan parfum terbaik di dunia, yang diramu dari aroma 25 gadis perawan "terbaik" di Prancis diramu sedemikian rupa dari bau badan mereka, bau rambut, bercampur keringat dll.. Untuk menghasilkan parfum ini, Grenouille bekerja keras, belajar meramu parfum dari kota ke kota. Mengumpulkan "bahan-bahan" pembuatan parfum berupa aroma gadis (yang didapat dgn membunuh si gadis dulu, lalu tubuhnya dibuntel2) rambut si gadis dll..

Pembunuhan ini meresahkan warga sekitar. Setelah dilakukan penyelidikan lebih lanjut, akhirnya Grenouille tertangkap dan siap dieksekusi. Namun secara ajaib dia lolos..

Yang jelas ceritanya nggak biasa, dan kepiawian si penulis bisa membawa kita ke suasana dengan sangat baik. Novel ini bukan favoritku karena ngga seberapa suka cerita model gini.. tapi yang jelas keunikan ceritanya memang oke.. dan seneng aja baca something new, dibandingin novel pembunuhan biasa..

Bebek Remuk and My Entrepreneur Life

BEBEK REMUK NYARIS MEMBUATKU REMUK !
Hahaha. When i re-read the sentence above, i just want to laugh.. Because it is funny but yet true indeed.

Well.. it has been almost 3 months since we opened this resto. For other people, 3 months might be just a short period of time. But for the four of us (the management team of Bebek Remuk).. these 3 months seems to be soooo looong time.. of struggling .. So many things happened, suprises, shocking news, crowded moments (baca: rame), silent moments (baca: sepi) .. and all of them have "mold" me.. I confess I learned a lot from this first 3 months of being a real entreprenur..

Along my 24 years of life, I have done "entrepreneurship" things in my life, even since i was a child.. As usual, i always love to list my past activity =) and now it is time to nostalgia about my entrepreneur time before I graduated from my university..

SD kelas 3 :
- This is the first time I entered a "sales" world. With my pembantu, I did keliling parakan (door to door salesgirl) bringing catalogue and price list, and sold... (guess what!) : Candles. Well they were not orginal candles, they were decorative candles which branded as "cahaya" The price vary from Rp. 1000 (for egg form candles) until Rp. 50.000 (christmas candles) I even sold candles which can ring a song, just cost Rp. 7000 ! Because at that time I had already mastering math (at least penjumlahan, pengurangan hehe) so i was very confident in selling this product, and it was really fun for me (like playing jual-jualan hehe)

People's respond were good, and I got a lot of money in about 5 months (at that time as a 9 years old salesgirl) But one thing i couldnt understand (that time) was when people paid for the goods, I also had to pay to my supplier (my auntie as the supplier), and just got a littel money hanya dari selisihnya. I couldnt accept that hahaha. Waktu itu tak pikir, kalau aku dapet 10.000 ya itu semua buat aku, kenapa aku harus bayar Rp. 8000 ke tanteku?? kok uangku diambil tante.. hahaha =D

SD kelas 5:
I had become familiar with money. Now guess what did i sell? Stickers! When i went to big city like Semarang and Jogja, I luv buying funny stickers like "smiley face" stickers, hologram stickers and many more.. As you might guess, in small city like Parakan, those kind of stickers were unavailable. So when my classmates showed signs of curiousity, I decided to sell those stickers, eceran. For example, My mom boughtme a piece of paper contains 10 stickers for Rp. 700, I sold each sticker for Rp. 500 (means I got Rp. 5000 !! no modal got money, yeah i like it !)

Hahaha those were the most memorable "entrepreneurship-marketing" time during my childhood. I have lots of stories about selling goods, like
--> Corn (Jagung Rebus)
--> Ayam Goreng (for charity in church)
And many goods which i couldnt remember anymore..

It happened until i graduated from my university, my last "products" which i still sell until now are:
--> Kerupuk Magelang (IDR 14,000/kg)
--> Emping Blinjo Asem Manis (IDR 16,000/pax)
--> Karak/ Gendar khas Jawa Tengah (IDR 9000/pax)
However, i honestly confess that I couldnt focus on selling anymore, especially since I opened this Duck Resto.

Now back to the "ducking problems"
I have sell a lot of products in my life, but opening my own business...? Never do that before. So this is my first time in being a real entrepreneur.

I have heard a lot about being an entreprenur from my friends, my college lessons, and even I had a quiet sugnificant time in resto's operation (I helped build and operating Warung Grobag)
But.. they are all not my OWN business.

And this Bebek Remuk is my OWN business (though not all shares are mine :P)
but still this is a big step for me.

If you ask me: "What does it feel, opening your own business?"
I ll answer : "Just try it and you'll know" hahaha didnt mean to get you confuse but.. it is very hardly spoken !

The feel is like a combination of
- Joyful
- Enthusiastic
- Proud
- Scared
- Challenged
- Nervous
- Hopeful
- Crazy

Haha.. but it is true. Sometimes I feel very enthusiastic, joyful and proud .. but sometimes (and most of the times) i feel.. Scared and nervous.. (like what i feel today.. hiks) ..

I really wish i could shared and write a lot about our problems in resto, but i think it will consume a lot of time writing them.. One problem which still i couldnt find the best solution: TIME.. and it highly related to what so called "energy & attention" This new business has almost make my body crushed (remuk- hehe) .. setelah sukses membuat lingkar mata hitam dan ngantuk di kantor hahaha..

I understand "work hard" hukumnya wajib bagi pengusaha resto baru, tapi aku sendiri merasa sangat kekurangan energi & waktu sehingga tidak bisa menggarap bisnis ini dengan maksimal.. hiks.. i hope to find the best solution for this, asap.. aku ngga mau badanku remuk, tapi juga ngga mau bisnisnya remuk, hehe yang remuk cuma bebeknya aja deh please..

Well.. despite of my discourage times, i still feel grateful God give me this opportunity to learn and become an entrepreneur (though i dunno , whether I will be succeed in this field or not) .. just hoping this business can be a blessings for our life, family and community..

3rd Ministry of Our Cantoria Group

"Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you, allelu, aleluia"

The song "Seek Ye First" has inspired me so much. I luv this song for its simple style, very simple notes combined with simple words, but meaningful. The words were taken from Matthew 6:33.. it reminds me to put God first above other things in my life..

That's why I chose this song to be one of my favourite, and sung at our church's sunday service last June 1st..

My arrangement of this song, was made to invite "jemaat" into a peace and still soul. I divided the essential of the song "People can find peace only if they seek for God first in their life" into 4 parts combined with the arrangement of Canon in D:

- After Prayer, the music starts with Canon in D intro, continued with Solo of Bait 1 in English, by Dina, while the last sentence was sung by all team member (SATB)
- Bait 2, sung by Jemaat accompanied by Cantoria SATB, in Indonesian, music arrangement combined with Canon in D, for 4 bars only (Interlude)
- Bait 3, sung by Jemaat accompanied by Cantoria SATB in English, music arrangement combined with Canon in D, for 4 bars only (no interlude)
- Bait 4, sung by Jemaat accompanied by Cantoria SATB (Accapela) --> for the first of time in our church, using Accapella to lead Jemaat singing
- Ending - Sung by Cantoria : "Allelu- Alleluia" SATB for 4 Bars.

It was perfectly sung by our cantoria team. Thanks to the team : Hanna, Dina, Becca, Abed, Michael. They have sung it very well.. I hope Jemaat will be able to catch "the soul" of the song!

Well.. I want to share a little bit.. for this sunday service, I want to introduce to our Jemaat about different way of singing a song. Usually we only sing in Indonesian, 2 or 3 bait, intro was taken from the song's notes, and thats it.

While yesterday, I have tried to introduced how to sing:
- Hymn Medley Songs (Hai Kristen Nyanyilah - Dalam Roh Yesus Kristus)
- Different Style in same Song (Hai Kristen : sung in Major and Minor)
- Accompanied by Cantoria, Accapela (Seek Ye First.. no music, let the SATB lead the way)
- Responsive Song (Dalam Lautan Yang Kelam: Sahut2an antar Pendeta & Jemaat)
- English Song (Seek Ye First)

All of them were arranged in "different ways" of intro, interlude, and ending, one of them used combination between Hymn and Chinese style, while the other is half-country style, and I also arranged for pure waltz, and traditional song (title : Tabuh Gendang!). For this "Tabuh Gendang" song, Abed helped to play the Gendang, thanks!

A big applause for my team members, both for the cantoria team and the music team (Jenny and Natalia).. I am proud to have a ministry with all of them. They have showed a strong will in practicing and during the service. It is very rare to find a team which willing to serve for 3 times in a sunday!

Some of Jemaat said that they get "the spirit" during the service. This is the best part of our ministry, when we able to "bring people closer to God" using music & liturgi arrangement for sunday service.

We felt this way at the most, when the last song was sung. "Dia Mengerti" is very much welcomed to sing by Jemaat. They sang it even louder and more expressive than other songs, maybe because the lyric of the song is reflecting the main point of the "khotbah".. At the same time, this song is also very popular, because one Sinetron used this song as the soundtrack... and the cantoria team sang it expresivelly.. hm, nice-touching ending for the three sunday services.

Thank God.. hope I will be able to serve Him again for the next cantoria ministries.. hope He will keep my heart (and our team) humble as His servants.. Amen.
